BACKGROUND

Polarised light microscopy THEORY + microscopy
Process of utilising it & Rachel discovered it
Stunning images with vivid colours that shifted when the bubbles popped and moved. The result is a vivid array of textural and unfamiliar streaks of light, shadow and refracted patterns. The shapes of other bubbles are reflected, amplified and diminished like small lenses.

Background

Research can be complicated, and when you have to communicate so much information it can be difficult to strike a balance between the level of detail, and the level of clarity. With this poster, the audience would come from a mixed background with different levels of technical knowledge.
Aim

Method

The research was broken down into 6 sections, and structured like a conversation using questions, process and answers to tell the story of the work.
Outcome

An informative and useful poster that focuses on telling the research story in small stages and helps walk the reader through the concepts and challenges.
